Publicly traded provider firm Life Partners hired Ernst & Young as its new auditor for the fiscal year ending Feb. 28, after its previous auditor resigned.
Waco, Texas-based Life Partners said it doesn't believe the change in auditors will delay the filing of its annual report on May 14.
The company previously said Eide Bailly resigned as its auditor as of Jan. 13. The decision was not due to any disagreement between the provider and the auditor "on any matter of accounting principles or practices, financial statement disclosures, or auditing scope or procedure," Life Partners said.
