Fund Managers Criticize Competitors for Market Deception

Life settlement fund managers criticized "rogue" competitors for deceiving the market with over-inflated policy evaluations, FTAdviser reported. The comments follow warnings last week from an official with the U.K.'s Financial Services Authority at a life settlements trade conference in London. Peter Smith, head investments policy for the FSA, reportedly said the agency is concerned about misleading marketing for life settlement investments.
