Advisers Concerned that Rockingham is Understating Settlement Risks

Financial advisers are concerned that U.K.-based Rockingham Retirement may be understating the risks of its life settlement investment option to customers of its Rita annuity, the web site Money Marketing reported. Rockingham's literature says investments in the ARM assured income plan have a "small element of risk," but advisers say that Rockingham is understating risks related to liquidity in the life settlements market, the article said.
